Responsibilities
- Maintains safe and courteous driving habits at all times.
- Performs various general maintenance on trucks and equipment. Inspects and cleans vehicle to promote positive company image. Maintains correct driving logs.
- Performs other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Must have at least 2 years of experience with a Class A Commercial Drivers License with appropriate endorsements, which may include, but not limited to, combination, tank, HASMAT, airbrakes, etc.
- Must be 23 years of age, have a good driving record, and two consecutive years of recent of CDL truck driving experience.
- Has general knowledge of truck operations and maintenance.
- However, weekend work may be required periodically to support business needs, based on workload and available hours.

- High School diploma or GED.
- Understands and follows safety regulations and performs work in a safe manner at all times. Recognizes unsafe conditions and takes action to correct or report unsafe situations.
- Communicates well verbally and in writing. Communicates to both supervisor and co-workers professionally and timely.
- Accepts personal responsibility for quality of work. Accepts mistakes while taking action to minimize reoccurrence and is a good team player.
- Takes responsibility for attendance and punctuality. Comes to work prepared and continues until the work is complete. Communicates with management when unexpected problems arise to make appropriate arrangements.
- Operates equipment in a safe and careful manner. Reports repairs and utilizes preventative maintenance schedules.
- Provide professional and courteous customer service when interacting with business contacts.
