About the role

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate books and records for pooled private investment funds and separate accounts, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
  • Perform cash, investment, and real property reconciliations, enhancing the accuracy of financial reporting.
  • Account for complex corporate actions and estimate monthly closing accruals to support financial accuracy.
  • Calculate income and expense allocations for partners, updating distribution waterfalls in accordance with governing documents.
  • Collaborate with independent auditors, custodians, prime brokers, and fund administrators to ensure seamless operations and compliance.

Requirements

  • Must-Have: 10-12 years of relevant accounting or audit experience, with a blend of Big Four public accounting and investment management industry exposure.
  • Strong knowledge of reconciliation processes and account analysis.
  • Experience with Geneva/GWI and Investran accounting systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Solid analytical skills with the ability to resolve complex financial issues effectively.

Compensation

  • Prepare comprehensive financial reports for clients on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, showcasing performance metrics and insights.
