About the role

  • Guidepoint's Business Development teams are passionate about expanding our reach with both new and existing clients.
  • Guidepoint is seeking qualified candidates for a role as Business Development Associate, New Business on the US Consulting Group.
  • This person will report directly to the Executive Vice President, US Consulting as they secure new relationships with our target client base (top global management consultancies, market research, advertising, and audit and advisory firms).

Responsibilities

  • Partner with management to identify top-tier new business opportunities based on strategic business development criteria and targets.
  • Conduct outbound prospecting to generate leads and lead introductory/exploratory calls with prospects
  • Meet designated sales targets using a strategic and thoughtful process designed to partner with clients and add value to their process
  • Broad base knowledge of the sales process from lead generation to relationship management

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team atmosphere
  • Initiative and ability to handle increasing responsibility over time
  • Ability to use AI-enabled tools thoughtfully and responsibly, with attention to accuracy, confidentiality, data quality, and human judgment

Compensation

  • $65,000 - $65,000 USD
  • Base salary may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, as well as geographic location.
  • The annual base salary for this position is $65,000.
