About the role

  • Role Piq Energy is seeking an innovative Full-Stack Software Engineer to join our team.
  • Piq is a remote-friendly company, with hubs in San Francisco, CA, and Athens, Greece.
  • Our SF team works in-person in our coworking space 2-3 days per week.

Responsibilities

  • Consider your capacity to maintain your self, your communities, and the environment.
  • You will develop, deploy, and maintain user-facing applications, backend APIs, databases, and cloud deployment infrastructure.
  • As part of our dynamic startup environment, you will have opportunities to own features and shape our user experience and technical architecture.
  • You'll collaborate within our team of software engineers, power systems experts, data scientists, and designers to deliver a powerful and performant SaaS platform.

  • Mission Piq Energy is helping leading developers connect to the grid faster by automating the technical power system analysis required to safely develop and deploy new assets.

Compensation

  • $150k-$250k

Benefits

  • Expect a base of $150k-$250k plus equity compensation for SF-based employees.
  • Python, LLM agents, Postgres, workflow orchestration There's no need to be an expert in all parts of our stack - it's more important that you're good at learning quickly.
  • This is a critical early hire with a significant amount of responsibility and corresponding competitive (location-adjusted) salary and equity compensation.
