Responsibilities

  • You will work side-by-side with firm leadership to serve clients and build the business, having a direct impact on the firm's success.
  • Additionally, you will be a mentor and coach to a group of talented staff, utilizing your expertise to help develop their technical and professional skills.

  • Be a valued tax business advisor, lead client relationships on day to day tax matters with various clients ranging from middle market to multinational
  • Manage client engagement staffing, billings/collections, and ensure client profitability targets are met
  • Support the growth and development of team members through the Baker Tilly Care and Teach philosophy, helping associates meet their professional goals

Requirements

  • 8 years of experience

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or law, or a similar degree in business, masters or advanced degree desirable
  • CPA or JD preferred
  • Eight (8)+ years' experience providing federal tax compliance and consulting services in a professional services firm
  • Five (5)+ years' of supervisory experience, mentoring and counseling associates
  • Demonstrated management, analytical, organization, interpersonal, project management, communication skills
  • Highly developed software and Microsoft Suite skills
  • Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship preferred
  • The pay rate range for this job position is $140,200.00 to $187,280.00.

  • Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of relevant factors including but not limited to applicant's skills, prior experience, qualifications, degrees/certifications, work arrangements and geographic location.
