About the role

Responsibilities

  • Join us in building the next generation of spacecraft.
  • Ownership - Help build technology that will shape the future of space exploration
  • Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of aerospace components and assemblies
  • Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records
  • Support first article inspections (FAI) in accordance with AS9102 requirements
  • Identify, document, and help resolve nonconforming materials and products
  • Support internal audits and quality system compliance activities
  • Maintain calibration records and coordinate measurement equipment calibration schedules
  • Support corrective and preventive action (CAPA) implementation and verification
  • Partner with production and engineering teams to improve product quality and manufacturing efficiency

Requirements

  • To comply with U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including ITAR, applicants must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, protected individual per 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
  • High school diploma or GED; Associate degree in Engineering Technology, Manufacturing, or a related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in quality inspection, manufacturing, aerospace, defense, automotive, or high-tech production environments.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic quality management systems.

Compensation

  • $60,000-$110,000
  • The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors.
  • Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
  • Highly competitive equity grants are included in the majority of full time offers; and are considered part of Quantum Space's total compensation package.
