About the role
- Radiance Technologies, a rapidly growing, employee-owned company supporting Department of War (DoW) weapon system development and test, is searching for a talented Real Time Systems Engineer to join our development team.
- Activities will include hard- and soft-realtime software development and test, hardware control algorithm development, and integration of control and monitoring software with mixed signal systems.

Requirements
- Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mathematics, Optical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or another relevant technical field
- Experience with infrared imaging and tracking systems
- Experience with Linux operating systems, such as Red Hat, CentOS or Ubuntu
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mathematics, Optical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or another relevant technical field
- Familiarity with objected oriented design and development
- Experience with high-speed camera interfaces, such as CameraLink, 10 GigE Vision
- Experience developing High Energy Laser (HEL) weapon system software/firmware
Skills
- 3+ years of experience in at least one of Computer-in-the-Loop (CIL), Software-in-the-Loop, Hardware-in-the-Loop systems
- Experience with realtime operating systems
- Experience programming in C++
- Experience with Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) development using VHDL/Verilog
- Experience programming in Python
- Experience writing hardware/software interfaces and hardware control algorithms
- Familiarity with the physics of passive electro-optic or active laser systems
- Active Secret clearance
