About the role
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and recommend improvements to infrastructure and deployment processes.
Responsibilities
- Manage and support Kubernetes-based application deployments across multiple environments.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD deployment pipelines for containerized applications and infrastructure updates.
- Implement and maintain security standards and compliance requirements for Linux and Windows environments.
- Support infrastructure provisioning, system upgrades, patching, and operational troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment reliability and operational efficiency.
- Job Summary B&A is seeking a motivated and technically skilled DevOps Engineer to support the development, automation, deployment, and maintenance of cloud-based infrastructure and applications.
- This role will work closely with development, infrastructure, and security teams to streamline deployment processes, maintain cloud environments, and ensure operational stability across multiple environments.
- Document deployment procedures, automation workflows, and operational standards.
- Desired Skills Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud services and administration.
- Experience with automation and configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or AWS Systems Manager.
- Experience with Linux administration and shell scripting and/or Windows Server administration with PowerShell.
- Knowledge of containers and container orchestration technologies, including Kubernetes.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a DevOps Engineer, Systems Administrator, or related infrastructure role.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and adapt to evolving technologies.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Knowledge of cloud security best practices and vulnerability remediation.
- Experience monitoring and logging using tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or Splunk.
- Familiarity with networking concepts, DNS, load balancing, and security groups within AWS.
Skills
- Automate Linux and Windows server administration tasks using scripting and configuration management tools.
- Assist with the maintenance, monitoring, and optimization of AWS cloud environments.
