About the role

  • Approximately 12 hours per week will be dedicated to providing behavioral health services through Colorado's Jail Based Behavioral Health Services (JBBS) program.
  • This role is ideal for clinicians who enjoy variety, autonomy, and working across multiple service settings.
  • Complete biopsychosocial assessments, treatment plans, and clinical documentation.

Requirements

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to provide services in community, home, office, and correctional settings.
  • Ability to successfully complete CJIS background screening and jail security clearance requirements.

Nice to have

  • Experience providing child and family therapy.
  • Experience providing crisis intervention or crisis stabilization services.
  • Experience working with justice-involved populations.
  • Bilingual abilities, particularly Spanish, are highly valued.
  • This is a full-time position that includes:
  • Approximately 12 hours per week providing services within the San Miguel County Jail.
  • Some evening appointments may be required.
  • Local travel throughout San Miguel County and surrounding service areas.

Compensation

  • $60,000 - $75,000 per year for provisionally licensed staff (LPCC, SWC. LSW, LMFTC)
  • $75,000-$85,000 per year for fully licensed staff (LPC, LCSW, LMFT)
  • Salary is commensurate with experience, licensure, and specialized training.
