About the role
- Approximately 12 hours per week will be dedicated to providing behavioral health services through Colorado's Jail Based Behavioral Health Services (JBBS) program.
- This role is ideal for clinicians who enjoy variety, autonomy, and working across multiple service settings.
- Complete biopsychosocial assessments, treatment plans, and clinical documentation.
Requirements
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to provide services in community, home, office, and correctional settings.
- Ability to successfully complete CJIS background screening and jail security clearance requirements.
Nice to have
- Experience providing child and family therapy.
- Experience providing crisis intervention or crisis stabilization services.
- Experience working with justice-involved populations.
- Bilingual abilities, particularly Spanish, are highly valued.
- This is a full-time position that includes:
- Approximately 12 hours per week providing services within the San Miguel County Jail.
- Some evening appointments may be required.
- Local travel throughout San Miguel County and surrounding service areas.
Compensation
- $60,000 - $75,000 per year for provisionally licensed staff (LPCC, SWC. LSW, LMFTC)
- $75,000-$85,000 per year for fully licensed staff (LPC, LCSW, LMFT)
- Salary is commensurate with experience, licensure, and specialized training.
