About the role
- Oasis Vocational Center provides vocational rehabilitation services to prepare and keep people employed.
- Working in conjunction with mental health service providers and the Department of Rehabilitation to assist clients in reaching their employment and career goals through:
- Identifying job opportunities and job placement based on client interest

Requirements
- Associate of Arts degree in vocational counseling, child counseling, development or psychology
- Experience in vocational rehabilitation, employment placement, job coaching, job placement and/or job counseling may be substituted.
- First Aid certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment
- Associate of Arts degree in vocational counseling, child counseling, development or psychology; social services or related social science or behavioral science field, or High School Diploma (with experience) or BA.
- At least two (2) years of experience working in a mental health setting or related field. Experience in vocational rehabilitation, employment placement, job coaching, job placement and/or job counseling may be substituted.
- Valid CA Driver's license and proof of automobile insurance
- Current CPR certification
Compensation
- Offering a salary that matches your skills and experience.
- 18.00 - 20.50 USD Per Hour Working Location:
