About the role
- The Client Advisor will be responsible for driving Neuberger Berman Canada's distribution strategy by building and maintaining relationships with financial advisors in Quebec.
- This role requires a dynamic and experienced sales professional with a deep network, exceptional relationship-building skills, and the ability to communicate complex investment solutions effectively.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive territory business plan to achieve and exceed sales targets
- Deliver impactful presentations to financial advisors, branch offices, and at client events, showcasing the firm's investment strategies and market insights
- Collaborate closely with the Head of Intermediary Distribution and internal stakeholders to execute strategic sales initiatives.
- Maintain accurate client records and sales activity tracking in CRM systems
- Provide ongoing advisor support and handle complex client inquiries
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field
- 5-10 years of successful experience in asset management sales, ideally in a senior external wholesaler or sales leadership role
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex concepts to sophisticated investors
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a track record of exceeding sales targets

- Deep, established relationships with high-performing corner office advisors in Toronto and beyond
- Strong understanding of investment vehicles (mutual funds, ETFs, Closed End Funds), investment strategies (fixed income, equities, alternatives - liquid alts and private market strategies), and portfolio construction strategies
- Effective organizational skills, capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in CRM systems and sales tracking tools
Compensation
- The salary range for this role is $190,000-$210,000.
- This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting.
- We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future.
- This job is also eligible for a discretionary bonus, which, along with base salary and retirement contributions, is part of our total comprehensive package.
