Responsibilities
- Demonstrates effective communication skills; communicates accurate and complete information; maintains strict confidentiality when necessary.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED Plus Graduate of an NBSTSA-accredited Surgical Technology program OR NCCT-approved Surgical Technology program OR Completed military surgical/scrub tech training OR Have two or more years of on-the-job surgical/scrub experience in an acute care facility or ambulatory surgery center
Nice to have
- 1 year Operating room experience (preferred in Orthopedics)
- Scrub Tech Certification
- Orthopedic experience

- Interacts with, and assists, the public in a professional and friendly manner as needed.
- Assists internal and external stakeholders, as needed, with exceptional customer service.
- Biological, Chemical, Fumes/Gases/Odors, Radiation, Sharp objects/tools
- Utilizes available communication tools;
- Consistently demonstrates new knowledge and skills through incorporation into actual clinical practice.
