- General Description: An OU Health Registered Nurse (RN) III works under general supervision and provides nursing care in a hospital setting to a variety of patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex.

- Delivers patient care competently; provides coaching and mentoring of others as needed.
- Resolves patient complaints in a timely manner in accordance with policy and in collaboration with support staff.
Requirements
- Basic Life Support (American Heart Association) certification required upon hire.
- Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Knowledge of advanced professional nursing theory, practices, techniques, and procedures.
- Ability to organize, plan, coordinate, and evaluate nursing services and apply nursing techniques.
- Ability to respond effectively to cultural and language needs of patients and visitors.
Nice to have
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required.
- Master's Degree in Nursing preferred.
- Specialty certification(s) preferred.
