About the role
- Qualifications This hire is critical to maintaining adequate EHS coverage as operational complexity and workforce demands increase.
Responsibilities
- The position will also support vessel testing, launch and recovery operations, confined space entry, hot work, lifting operations, and emergency response readiness.
- This role will be responsible for leading day-to-day EHS activities, supervising and developing EHS personnel, overseeing contractor safety, conducting incident investigations, implementing corrective actions, and supporting compliance with OSHA, EPA, USCG, and applicable maritime regulations.

- This hire is critical to maintaining adequate EHS coverage as operational complexity and workforce demands increase. Without this position, the organization faces increased safety, compliance, and operational risks, reduced field presence, delayed program implementation, and diminished support for production and vessel testing activities. The EHS Shipyard Supervisor will provide support to the global mission services.
- Physical Demands
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Occasional standing and walking within the office
- Manual dexterity to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment
- Visual acuity to read screens, documents, and reports
- Occasional reaching, bending, or stooping to access file drawers, cabinets, or office supplies
- Lifting and carrying items up to 20 pounds occasionally (e.g., office supplies, packages)
