About the role
- Additionally requiring, typing transcription (dictaphone and written), filing, charting and other assigned duties.
- Full time EKG Technicians must take the phlebotomy training in house (2-3 weeks) and pass competency.
- Recognizes abnormal EKG reading and reports to proper person.
Nice to have
- One year experience and/or certificate EKG course at Career College or equivalent
- Preferred: One year required unless the above-mentioned course has been taken.
Skills
- Preferably Certified Electrocardiology Tech or Cardiovascular Tech.
- Must possess skills to provide diagnostic testing to newborn, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
