About the role
- We are looking for a Senior Manager, Business Operations in our Toronto office.
- This person needs to be resourceful, adaptable, highly organized, and above all else, a very strong communicator.
- Someone not afraid to roll up their sleeves and be hands-on to get things done, while also being someone who can take a step back and be strategic and calculated with our approach.
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end contracts process (MSAs, SOWs, NDAs, vendor agreements)
- Partner with external legal counsel to review and negotiate agreements
- Maintain contract repository and ensure compliance with terms
- Manage application processes, reporting requirements, and compliance
- Support client onboarding and ongoing operational coordination
- Support day-to-day financial operations including invoicing, collections, and expense tracking
- Partner with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Own internal software stack (licenses, access, cost optimization) including but not limited to: Google Workspace, Slack, Atlassian, AWS, GitHub, PagerDuty, Postman, Figma, Miro, Claude, etc.
- Manage employee onboarding/offboarding from a systems and access perspective
- Real Impact: Build AI systems used by Fortune 500 companies.
Nice to have
- Prior experience with Government Grants and funding initiatives
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks (ISO, SOC2, etc.) and compliance tools (Vanta, Scrut, etc.)
- Exposure to financial tools (Ramp, Quickbooks, etc.)
- Post-secondary business degree
