Responsibilities
- Responsible for coordinating the organization's respiratory protection and fit testing program to support employee safety and regulatory compliance with OSHA standards.
- Maintains accurate records of completed fit tests, employee participation, and training documentation.
- Enters and maintains program data within electronic databases, spreadsheets, and tracking systems.
- Performs monthly compliance tracking and reporting to ensure adherence to organizational and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Current Montana Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license required.
- Ability to act with integrity, kindness, and exhibit empathy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with various audiences.
- Other duties may be assigned similar to the above consistent with knowledge, skills and abilities required for the job.
- Minimum of two (2) years' experience working within healthcare or coordination role required.
- Promotes excellence through setting high standards and providing high quality outcomes.
- Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented, a self-starter, possess critical thinking skills and be able to set priorities and function as part of a team as well as independently.
- Commitment to working in a team environment and maintaining confidentiality as needed.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
- Possess and maintain computer skills to include working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn other software as needed.
- Job Specific Duties:
- Conducts qualitative and quantitative respirator mask fit testing in accordance with OSHA respiratory protection standards.
- Provides education and training to employees regarding respirator use, fit testing procedures, and respiratory protection requirements.
- Trains designated staff members to perform respirator fit testing procedures and related program activities.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with respirator mask fitting and OSHA standards preferred.
