Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Office of Academic Affairs Marketing and Communications on strategic marketing and communications planning and shared support resources such as web infrastructure, digital accessibility and graphic design.
  • Support the growth of the public profile of the Sustainability Institute's Director.
  • They will collaborate closely with institute team members to promote the unit's engagement opportunities, achievements and impact.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 2 years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in communications, marketing, journalism, public relations or a related field required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively, managing multiple priorities and deadlines

Nice to have

  • 4 years of relevant experience
  • Demonstrated proficiency in digital communication tools and platforms, including content management systems, social media management tools, and analytics software.
  • Experience applying AI to related tasks preferred.

Skills

  • Responsible for event logistics including room and catering reservations, event supplies, RSVP tracking and zero waste options.

Compensation

  • With input from Sustainability Institute team members, develop and execute against an annual outreach and communications plan.
