Responsibilities

  • Perform quality controls following the Work Instructions (WI's) on raw materials, semi-finished, and finished products.
  • Continually support and train the Production staff on WI's, quality and process issues in cooperation with Management.
  • Perform final inspection of finished goods and perform defect analysis and pareto of defects.
  • Utilize and maintain the supplied instruments of measurement according to WI and safety standards.
  • Manage, maintain, and calibrate the instruments of measurement in the production line and in the QA room.
  • Other duties and tasks as assigned to support the Quality Manager.

Requirements

  • Create statistical analysis and reports on the quality of raw materials and finished product as required.
  • Produce, in collaboration with the certified laboratories, "Master Modules" as required.
  • Liaise with suppliers and customers when required.
  • In collaboration Management, produce and maintain all documentation required for the Quality manual in respecting the ISO standards.

Skills

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision yet knows when to ask for help.
  • Proven proficiency with computers, Microsoft Office and Excel programs, and statistical software packages.
  • Excellent understanding of problem-solving techniques including 8D, 5Why's, Fishbone, etc.
  • Ability to learn and apply new knowledge to resolve problems.
  • Knowledge of reading blueprints/ GD&T Drawings
  • Education and/or Experience
  • Manufacturing experience in a technical role, preferred
  • Previous PV module manufacturing experience, preferred
