About the role

  • This position plays a key role in the oversight, administration and compliance of federal financial aid programs by ensuring accurate processing, reconciliation and reporting of student aid.
  • The Financial Aid Coordinator will be responsible for managing the import and export of ISIRs NSLDS history files, and transfer monitor files.
  • This role requires advanced knowledge of financial aid, analytical and organization skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

  • Manages the electronic import of student financial aid records by processing Institutional Student Information Records (ISIRs) and resolving errors to ensure accurate data integration.
  • Manages the electronic import of NSLDS history files and transfer monitor files to ensure financial aid requirements are met.
  • Oversees financial aid system communications by reviewing and processing regulatory file messages to maintain compliance and data integrity.
  • Ability to manage multiple processes, meet deadlines and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire and maintain work authorization throughout the employment term.

Compensation

  • (For current employees, pay may not be restricted to the posted range and will be set in accordance with the Madison College Compensation Manual guidelines for internal salary placement.)
  • Schedule: This is a full-time 40-hours per week, 52-weeks per year, limited-term position through December 10, 2027.
