Computes and selects proper technical factors based on patient size, physical condition, and suspected pathology. - Prepares each patient for examination by confirming patients' history and explaining the exam process.

Performs routine and non-routine digital mammography procedures as ordered. Computes and selects proper technical factors based on patient size, physical condition, and suspected pathology.
Maintains supplies for diagnostic procedures.
Maintain logs; process paperwork for biopsies and utilize sterile techniques preventing contamination
Maintain quality standards as it relates to HIPAA regulations
Assist other technologists, Lead technologist and or clinical manager with maintaining licensure, accreditation, and preparing for inspections with agencies such as ACR, MQSA, and NYS DOH.
Maintain communication with radiologists and other physicians, patients and their families, and other persons
Perform daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly QA testing as well as help keep proper documentation of testing.
Perform all mammographic images daily in guidelines to ACR accreditation.
Enhance professional growth and maintain certifications, registration and active CME's.
