Requirements

  • Management of advanced mechanical circulatory support devices, including: Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) Intra-Aortic
  • Balloon Pump (IABP) Impella Bedside critical care procedures, including:

Nice to have

  • Work schedule - 13-hour shifts (6a-7p, 11a-12a, or 6p-7a
  • Inpatient- Adults- 100% Graduation from an accredited ACNP or PA program.
  • Nurse practitioners are required to have a master's degree or doctorate in nursing practice.
  • Certification as an ACNP from a nationally recognized certifying body is required.
  • Physician Assistants with certification from the National Commission on Certification of PAs is required.
  • Post graduate ICU fellowship or experience in an ICU setting as a PA or NP preferred.
  • Applicants with significant and recent ICU experience as an RN will be considered.
  • Interpersonal skills and critical thinking must be demonstrated.
