About the role
- The organization includes six hospitals, 5 ERs, and over 80 clinics.
- The hybrid virtual eAcute nurse will work at least one shift per pay period as an eAcute Virtual Med surg nurse and the remainder of shifts as a bedside nurse.
- The eAcute Virtual Med-Surg nurse is a pivotal member of the healthcare team to assist with managing the care of the adult or geriatric patient experiencing general medical conditions or general surgical procedures.
Requirements
- The virtual eAcute nurse assists the primary bedside nurse with nursing tasks not required to be done in person as well as real-time quality and patient safety surveillance.
- Required: Graduate of an accredited nursing program or NLN approved program
- Required: At least two years' nursing experience
Nice to have
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Preceptor and Charge nurse experience
- Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing

- The Medical-Surgical nurse is responsible for managing the care of the adult or geriatric patient experiencing general medical conditions or general surgical procedures.
