About the role

  • Assists Quality Analysts and the QA team in our ISO compliant environment.

Responsibilities

  • The Quality Technician role is established to support the Simple Plex and Simple Western Consumables team in the Wallingford facility.
  • Provides support for QC / QA activities including hands-on evaluation of microfluidic cartridge products and simple western cartridges (see https://www.proteinsimple.com/ella.html).

Nice to have

  • Bachelor of Science degree in relevant field
  • with a minimum of 0-2 years' experience
  • Non-science 4-year degree or associate degree with 2.
  • 4 years' experience
  • High School degree with 5+ years of laboratory work and/or biologics handling experience.
  • Good communication skills are essential
  • Experience in an ISO compliant manufacturing environment is preferred.

Skills

  • Lab experience including pipetting.
  • Microsoft office (Excel) knowledge
  • Propose process improvements and flag areas for improvement
  • Support deviation and out-of-specification investigations
  • Demonstrate an increasing level of independence in daily work tasks
  • Flexibility to work on multiple tasks with increased effectiveness
  • Understands databases
