About the role

  • Day Shift, Weekdays, 6:30a-4p or 7a-4:30p
  • Focuses on prevention of illness and injury and protection from occupational and environmental hazards.
  • Conducts employment health assessments and screening, annual Tuberculosis (TB) surveillance testing, immunization assessment/administration and other routine screenings and nursing care, ensuring compliance with regulatory agencies and organizational policies.

Responsibilities

  • Practices professional nursing and promotes patient advocacy in accordance with the ANA Code of Ethics for Nurses and maintains a current Ohio Nursing License.
  • Plans, implements, educates and evaluates nursing care using Evidence-Based Practices.
  • Documents according to department standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Collaborates with Human Resources and Bureau of Worker's Compensation Third Party Administrator to ensure accident reports and Workers Compensation claims/records are accurate and timely.

Requirements

  • Two years of adult acute care nursing experience, required.

  • Professional interpersonal skills to provide effective communication and customer service.
