Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain structured root cause analysis datasets for water influx and wellbore integrity issues to inform mitigation strategies
- Develop and guide corporate mitigation strategies to prevent or manage water influx and wellbore integrity degradation
- Lead implementation and project management of approved mitigation measures, including vendor engagement
- Provide technical guidance on well construction, workover, and remedial design practices related to wellbore integrity
- Support and monitor cathodic protection and other wellbore integrity systems
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related mathematics/statistics field
- Minimum 7 years of engineering experience, including at least 2 years in oil and gas
- Experience with deviated or horizontal wells, including drilling, completions, or wellbore remediation
- Corrosion training or certification (NACE, AMPP, or similar) with proficiency in CBL/VDL interpretation and reliability analysis methods
- Experience with data analytics and visualization tools (Spotfire, Power BI) and strong written and verbal communication skills

- Experience with SQL Server and Python
