About the role

  • Narrative Strategies seeks an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to assist with the company's growth and expanding the finance and accounting team.
  • About the team: Working in unison with the Director of Finance, Accountant, and the Chief Financial Officer, the AP Clerk will be a key component in continuing the company's efforts to grow the Finance and Accounting department.
  • The AP Clerk will report to the Senior Director of Finance and will require strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and time management skills.

Responsibilities

  • In this role, you will collaborate with individuals across the entire organization, including the client account teams, creative services, and the firm's senior executives, as well as our clients and vendors.
  • Able to skillfully manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in an AP Clerk role, preferably in a corporate and/or professional services environment.
  • Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).

Nice to have

  • Sage Intacct experience is preferred.

Skills

  • Qualifying skills and basic requirements:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, both written and oral.
