About the role

  • Technical Skills AWS & Networking Strong expertise in: VPC, Transit Gateway (TGW), Route 53 VPN, Direct Connect Security Groups & NACLs Experience designing multi-region HA/DR architectures.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and optimize multi-region AWS architectures ensuring scalability, high availability, and resilience.
  • Build and manage advanced VPC networking including VPC peering, Transit Gateway (TGW), routing policies, and cross-region connectivity.
  • Configure and maintain networking components: Security Groups Network ACLs (NACLs) Route Tables Internet Gateways (IGW) & NAT Gateways Ensure High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies across regions.
  • Handle database administration tasks including: Installation, configuration, upgrades, and patching Backup & recovery, performance tuning, and monitoring Ensuring data availability, security, and integrity Collaborate with DevOps and application teams for secure deployments.
  • Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for infrastructure.
  • Optimize environments for cost, performance, and governance.

Requirements

  • Required Skills & Experience Core Experience 10+ years of experience as a Cloud Engineer / DevOps Engineer / AWS Infrastructure Engineer.
  • Solid experience with database administration (DBA) in cloud/on-prem environments:
  • Terraform / CloudFormation Scripting using Python or Bash DevOps & CI/CD Experience setting up and managing

Skills

  • VPC, Transit Gateway (TGW), Route 53 VPN, Direct Connect Security Groups & NACLs Experience designing multi-region HA/DR architectures.
  • Strong experience working in enterprise-scale cloud environments.
