About the role
- In this role, you will provide field engineering expertise for mechanical systems and equipment installation.
- Provide technical assistance to superintendents and craft for mechanical installation activities including equipment setting, HVAC systems, and associated mechanical components.
- Prepare construction sketches, field change documentation, and as-built documentation.
Responsibilities
- Support development and implementation of inspection and test plans for mechanical systems.
- Perform field inspections and ensure installations meet project specifications, codes, and quality requirements.
- Prepare and support work packages and detailed short-term schedules aligned with construction priorities.
- Coordinate with engineering to resolve constructability issues and design clarifications.
- Manage quantity take-offs, tracking, reporting, and forecasting for mechanical scopes.
- Support material management activities including requisitions, expediting, receipt inspections, and proper storage.
- Interface with subcontractors, suppliers, and other disciplines to maintain construction progress and avoid rework.

Requirements
- Requires s bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 5-8 years of relevant experience or 9 -12 years of relevant work experience
- Required Knowledge and
- The position to which you are applying may have additional background and drug screening requirements from those of your current position.

Nice to have
- Experience in semiconductor, data center, EV battery, or industrial construction preferred.
Skills
- Strong understanding of mechanical construction practices and field execution.
- Knowledge of industry codes and standards.
- Experience with digital construction tools and planning systems preferred.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
