About the role
- Participates in the on-going evaluation of the recreation program and related quality improvement processes.
- Prior experience working with seniors, preferably in a long-term care setting.
- Assessment, care planning and other related documentation,
Responsibilities
- Assists in creating and maintaining engaging spaces/environments in the home that support meaningful resident activity and participation.
Requirements
- Observes, reports and documents as required, any changes in the resident's ability to participate in activities, updating plan of care as appropriate.
- Graduate of a post-secondary diploma or degree program in recreation and leisure studies, therapeutic recreation or other related field from a community college or university.
- Canadian work experience is not required.
Compensation
- $23.67 - $25.34 per hour
- Salary placement based on qualifications and experience.
