About the role
- This is an Open to fill recruitment; which means the job posting will close once we have hired our new team members.
- Integrated Clinical Services (ICS) provides quality health services for people who experience barriers to accessing care.
- The Dental Assistant (EFDA) is responsible for a variety of duties to assist Dentists and Dental Hygienists in the delivery of dental care to patients.
Responsibilities
- Clinical Functions and Provider Support
- Performs all aspects of 4-handed dentistry using effective and efficient techniques; mixes materials; places rubber dam; takes study models impressions.
Requirements
- BLS CPR Certification or ability to obtain certification within 30 days of hire.
- Successful completion of courses of instruction required prior to certification.

Compensation
- $27.08 - $32.94 Hourly

- The Dental Program works with many community partners, targeting underserved populations in Multnomah County to ensure access to dental services including providing education, prevention and dental treatment.
- Provides direct clinical assistance and support to Dentists and Dental Hygienists
- Performs Dental Assisting and expanded functions, including rubber cup prophylaxis, applying sealants, polishing amalgams, placing/removing matrix retainers, removes excess cement and placing temporary restorations.
