About the role

- This is a hybrid position with additional responsibilities for programming, student care, and conduct in the Office of Student Involvement and Leadership (OSIL).

Responsibilities
- Provide support for undergraduate housing selection process.
- Collaborate with campus partners such as Housing, Facility & Project Management, and Dining Services to sustain and improve residential environments.
- Manage a residence hall front desk, including hiring, training and supervision of student staff.
- Serve as a Building Emergency Coordinator for the primary residence area and participate in overall response to campus emergencies.
- Maintain positive and collaborative working relationships with other University departments.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience working directly with college students (graduate assistantships considered)
- Develop meaningful mentoring relationships with students and maintain a high degree of visibility and availability in the residential community.
- master's degree in Higher Education, Student Affairs, Counseling, or related field preferred
- Demonstrated ability to teach, mentor, and facilitate student learning in both formal and informal settings
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to engage and support students with a wide range of experiences and perspectives
- Sound judgment and ability to manage complex student situations with professionalism
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple responsibilities

Compensation
- $43,000 - $43,940 annually (DOE)
