About the role

  • We prefer that you are proficient in informational flow and communication, which are necessary to succeed at a smaller, technical organization.
  • We prefer that you are comfortable using modern ERP systems, MS Office suite, project management software, and have excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Create and manage purchase orders for raw materials, additive and subtractive manufacturing components, services, and equipment needed for manufacturing.
  • Support and help drive oversight of the supplier management system, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulations (ITAR/EAR, FAR/DFAR).
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure prompt deliveries and optimal pricing.
  • Coordinate and support supplier non-disclosure agreement creation and processing.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple engine programs in a fast-paced environment.
  • Identify and implement cost savings opportunities and alternative suppliers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Engineering, Material Control, Quality, Finance, to meet project and production timelines.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in hardware-centered production environment.
  • Experience working in the Federal Government regulatory environment (i.e. understands FAR and DFAR procurement requirements and how they impact suppliers).

Nice to have

  • 2-4 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain, preferably in a manufacturing environment (aerospace experience is a plus).
  • Familiarity with modern ERP systems (experience with Odoo is a plus).

Compensation

  • Colorado law requires us to tell you the base compensation range of this role, which is $68,000 - $85,000, determined by your education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
