About the role

We prefer that you are proficient in informational flow and communication, which are necessary to succeed at a smaller, technical organization.
We prefer that you are comfortable using modern ERP systems, MS Office suite, project management software, and have excellent communication skills.

Create and manage purchase orders for raw materials, additive and subtractive manufacturing components, services, and equipment needed for manufacturing.
Support and help drive oversight of the supplier management system, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulations (ITAR/EAR, FAR/DFAR).
Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure prompt deliveries and optimal pricing.
Coordinate and support supplier non-disclosure agreement creation and processing.
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple engine programs in a fast-paced environment.
Identify and implement cost savings opportunities and alternative suppliers.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Engineering, Material Control, Quality, Finance, to meet project and production timelines.

Proficiency in hardware-centered production environment.
Experience working in the Federal Government regulatory environment (i.e. understands FAR and DFAR procurement requirements and how they impact suppliers).

2-4 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain, preferably in a manufacturing environment (aerospace experience is a plus).
Familiarity with modern ERP systems (experience with Odoo is a plus).
