Our work is focused on children and family programs, housing & homelessness, and resettling newcomers to Canada in Hamilton, Halton, and Brantford.

Support and facilitate the children and families' participation/attendance in the Early Years services available in the Hamilton-Centre riding
Build positive relationships with children, parents and service providers
Welcome, support and interact with all clients, including those from culturally diverse backgrounds, newcomers to Canada, LGBTQ2S+, young parents, etc.
The Summer Early Childhood Outreach Worker will be responsible for working with the EarlyON Child and Family Centre's Supervisor to support and facilitate the involvement of families in EarlyON Child and Family Centre's.

Applicant must be between 18 and 30 years of age at the start of the employment.
Experience and sensitivity working with all families including those culturally diverse, LGBTQ2S+, young parents, etc.

Postsecondary studies or previous experience in Early Childhood Education, Child and Youth Worker, Recreation Leadership, Social Service Worker, Social Work or a Social Service field.
