About the role

  • The Manufacturing Quality Assembly Technician is responsible for supporting manufacturing operations.
  • They identify and escalate quality issues seen on the manufacturing floor.
  • The MQE Technician will focus daily on auditing processes, root cause investigations and documenting non-conformance issues.

Responsibilities

  • Perform Daily Audits for Quality and Compliance
  • Drive root cause analysis of any quality issues reported by assembly operations
  • Document and upload investigation findings in JIRA.
  • Identify potential issues and drive preventive actions on a real-time basis
  • Perform pilot build audits for each new product SKU
  • Create product -specific inspection guides based on known issues from vendor or customer feedback, or ZT investigations
  • Manage/escalate issues impacting quality and communicate to In-Process Quality Control inspectors, leads and Supervisor / managers
  • Create time-sensitive quality alerts for process gaps and inspections & drive SOP improvements.
  • Create Quality Incidents (QI) for supplier quality issues and monitor multiple tickets for updates from supplier quality engineering.
  • Matching gifts and volunteer programs to support causes you care about

Nice to have

  • Ability to speak Spanish, preferred but not required
  • Understanding of ESD Compliance preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Excel, and Word) preferred

Compensation

  • The typical base salary for this position is expected to be around $22.50/hourly.
