About the role
- The Institute for Hydrogen Research (IHR) is a multidisciplinary team of over 50 people having at its disposal state of the art equipment and laboratories.
- The temperature of the cryolite bath is crucial data for the operation of aluminum electrolysis cells.
- Currently, it is measured punctually because thermal probes (thermocouples) corrode quickly in the cryolithic bath and therefore cannot be used continuously.
Requirements
- Master's degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, metallurgy, materials science or other relevant discipline.
- Knowledge of thermodynamics and/or corrosion in a molten salt environment.
- Experience in aluminum or metal corrosion will be considered an asse
Company info
- Our mission is to advance science and technology for the establishment of a sustainable energy system using Hydrogen particularly in the field of production, storage, safety, and utilisation.
