About the role
- The City of Burlington Fire Department (CBFD) is seeking highly motivated, dedicated fire service and emergency personnel to fill a part-time Firefighter/AEMT-Paramedic position.
- We provide Fire and EMS services to the City of Burlington.
- ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Respond to fire and emergency calls.
Responsibilities
- Perform firefighting duties.
- Perform general maintenance work of equipment, vehicles, apparatus, facilities, and grounds.
- Perform equipment and apparatus checks and inspections, monthly, performing repairs as needed.
Requirements
- Be 18 years of age or older.
- Must be able to read, write and speak in the English language.
- Perform other related duties as required.

- EMS License at or above Paramedic (Wisconsin)
- Wisconsin State Certified Officer
- Wisconsin Driver Operator/Aerial Certification
- Wisconsin State Fire Instructor
- Wisconsin State Fire Inspector
- Wisconsin State Certified Firefighter II
- Wisconsin Driver Operator/Pumper Certification
- Necessary Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Compensation
- $18k-$22k
