About the role

  • We are searching for a driven and skillful sales hunter to grow Halter's enterprise market segment across existing and new accounts.
  • We are looking for someone with X-factor across the sales cycle, a hunter at heart, and deep experience driving complex sales cycles.
  • You'll thrive in high-pressure environments, using initiative to make results happen, often against the odds.

Responsibilities

  • Just a group of cattle walking at their own pace.
  • Our team gets to be part of something truly meaningful, helping farmers improve their livelihoods, spend more time with their families, and build more sustainable operations.
  • Our culture is designed for talented people to do work that changes lives.
  • You'll be thrown into the deep end, tackling complex challenges and building something tangible that solves real problems.
  • You'll have the freedom to work on interesting problems, master new skills, and continuously develop yourself, both through your role and our $1,000 personal growth fund.

Nice to have

  • A true enterprise sales hunter - someone who thrives on complexity, sees opportunity in ambiguity, and knows how to unlock deals in high-stakes, multi-stakeholder environments.
  • You've run long sales cycles, influenced at the board level, and expanded accounts over time.
  • Deep industry understanding - ideally, you've worked in or around large-scale ranching systems, and you understand the language, needs, and pace of this world.
  • A phenomenal attitude, strong ownership, and an unshakable focus on the customer.
  • You bring energy to the room, take responsibility, and don't let obstacles slow you down.
  • Comfort with autonomy, ambiguity, and pace - we're growing fast, and you'll need to move quickly, make great calls, and adjust as we scale.
  • This is a chance to grow your career alongside a high-performing, high-impact team.

Compensation

Benefits

  • Health Benefits
  • 16 weeks of paid parental leave for primary and 8 weeks for secondary caregivers plus many other parental benefits that support you and your family.
  • Our time to recharge is valued, we're offered wellness leave and unlimited paid annual leave.
  • Importantly, we offer an inclusive and attractive remuneration package made up of salary, benefits and an employee stock ownership plan.
  • Autonomy, mastery, and learning define how we work.
