About the role
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including problem-solving, process optimization, and quality control.
- Take shared ownership of team performance metrics related to safety, quality, productivity, and delivery targets.
- Operate manufacturing equipment from rinser, filler, capper, labeler, case packer, and palletizer complying to safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform startup checks and end-of-shift procedures for machinery.
- accurate record keeping (receiving tallies/QC documents).
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas according to sanitation schedules.
- Knowledge of hydrostatic tank gauges (HTG) to maintain these inventories. Determining tank volumes in scale and volumetric tanks.
Requirements
- Maintain accurate logs and records as required by local regulations and company policies.
- Manage logs as required by local law and TTB (Tax and Trade Bureau).
Skills
- Mechanically inclined with the ability to learn and operate manufacturing equipment.
- Good computer skills, Microsoft Office, Hartford, and SAP.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of basic arithmetic.
- Valid forklift operator's license or willingness to obtain one.
- Minimum 2-year college degree or certificate from technical, trade or vocational school
Compensation
- IS FROM $49,070 TO $81,783 (ANNUAL)
- At Diageo certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including annual incentive payment and stock awards.
