Responsibilities
- Drives the new Behavioral Based Safety program down to all of the asociates.
- Drives and leads continuous improvement of the delivery and material handling processes.
- Generates and implements innovations for logistical competitive advantage that improve performance.
- Implements Lean concepts & practices.
- Assists in developing site logistics budget with focus on continuously improving year over year performance against metrics.
- Leads team; selects/hires; develops objectives; coaches and evaluates performance.
Requirements
- Knowledge of Logistics functions.
- Knowledge of financial or cost analysis and measurements of logistics.
- Experience with industrial safety practices and procedures.
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite Software and relevant tools / technology to improve logistics performance.
- Year of experience: 1-2 years logistics experience in a warehousing environment and 1 year of superviosory experience.
- 1-2 years logistics experience in a warehousing environment and 1 year of superviosory experience.
Nice to have
- DOT exposure a plus.
- Project Management experience a plus.
- Lean/Six Sigma experience a plus.
