Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot oil and propane-fired boilers, furnaces, water heaters, and oil tanks
  • Maintain daily and yearly inventory

Requirements

  • Perform other duties as required to maintain and enhance departmental productivity

Skills

  • Ability to work well with others; good organization and communication skills; attention to detail and strong customer service
  • Frequent driving, climbing out of vehicle working in
  • Ability to work in confine spaces, heavy lifting and ability to work at heights ranging up to 50 ft
  • Ability to install various types of heating equipment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines
  • Strong decision-making skills
  • Your Experience:
  • A valid Propane or natural gas license. Nora Certification is an asset
  • Knowledge of wiring and plumbing is required
  • Heating technician experience considered an asset
