About the role

  • Growth at Astrocade is not a single funnel - it is two sides of a platform that have to grow together.
  • This is a hands-on IC role with a clear path to more ownership as we scale.
  • We believe in hiring smart, curious people who are excited to learn and grow.

Responsibilities

  • Own product growth across acquisition, activation, engagement, retention, and expansion for both creators and players
  • Build a deep understanding of users through data, experiments, feedback, and direct observation
  • Partner with engineering and design to build onboarding, discovery, viral, and activation experiences
  • Define core metrics, communicate the why behind recommendations, and document decisions and learnings clearly
  • Use and own agentic tools to automate workflows, uncover insights, and scale what works
  • Are highly fluent in data and analytics: comfortable with product analytics tools, experiment design, and translating ambiguous behavior into actionable insight
  • Thrive in ambiguity and are energized by building from zero rather than optimizing what already exists
  • Join us to help build the future of interactive entertainment.
  • Are a strong cross-functional collaborator - you've worked closely with engineering, design, marketing, and data teams
  • Experience building a growth function from scratch at an early-stage company

Requirements

  • Have strong product sense - you can spot high-leverage opportunities, scope tight MVPs, and ship without overthinking

Skills

  • Run rigorous experiments and turn insights into shipped product improvements
  • Improve the creator journey from first visit to first published game, reducing friction and accelerating time-to-value

Compensation

  • Competitive base salary plus equity

Benefits

  • Competitive base salary plus equity
  • Health, dental, and vision coverage
  • Communicate clearly and document exceptionally well - you can explain the "why," define the goal, outline tradeoffs, and leave behind recommendations that cross-functional partners can execute against independently
