About the role

  • The University of Utah is a Level 1 Trauma Center and is nationally ranked and recognized for our academic research, quality standards and overall patient experience.
  • Our five hospitals and eleven clinics provide excellence in our comprehensive services, medical advancement, and overall patient outcomes.
  • Essential Functions Schedules and coordinates appointments, including surgical procedures, pre/post-op care, imaging (MRI, CT scans, etc.), and care across departments and specialties.

Responsibilities

  • Processes payments, reconciles daily financials, and may manage single-case or gap agreements with insurers.

Requirements

  • Knowledge / Skills / Abilities Advanced knowledge of scheduling, registration, and referrals processes in Epic.
  • Familiarity with specialty case coordination and multidisciplinary care.
  • Ability to facilitate effective communication between patients, physicians, and clinical staff.

Skills

  • Strong coordination and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite. (Word, Excell, Outlook) Excellent communication and liaison skills.
