About the role
- The University of Utah is a Level 1 Trauma Center and is nationally ranked and recognized for our academic research, quality standards and overall patient experience.
- Our five hospitals and eleven clinics provide excellence in our comprehensive services, medical advancement, and overall patient outcomes.
- Essential Functions Schedules and coordinates appointments, including surgical procedures, pre/post-op care, imaging (MRI, CT scans, etc.), and care across departments and specialties.
Responsibilities
- Processes payments, reconciles daily financials, and may manage single-case or gap agreements with insurers.
Requirements
- Knowledge / Skills / Abilities Advanced knowledge of scheduling, registration, and referrals processes in Epic.
- Familiarity with specialty case coordination and multidisciplinary care.
- Ability to facilitate effective communication between patients, physicians, and clinical staff.

Skills
- Strong coordination and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite. (Word, Excell, Outlook) Excellent communication and liaison skills.
