About the role
- As a Shipping Team Manager, you will lead efforts to ensure customer satisfaction while achieving business objectives regarding Safety, Employee Engagement, Quality, Productivity, Process Improvement, and Cost-effectiveness within your assigned shift and department.
Responsibilities
- Initiate, implement, and support effective operational improvements to promote safety, increase employee engagement, improve quality, minimize scrap, and increase productivity.
- To maintain the integrity of our hiring process and protect our candidates from identity fraud, we require video and/or in-person interviews.
Requirements
- Knowledge of manufacturing operations systems (best practices), processes, and technology, with a demonstrated ability to achieve operational results through delegation and teamwork.
Nice to have
- High School diploma and a minimum of 3 years of leadership, process improvement, and supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment required
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
