Responsibilities

  • Collect, analyze, document, and develop corrective action strategies for internal and external quality related issues.
  • Develop and/or complete plant reliability tests to analyze and solve problems.
  • Analyze product and process design to prevent and correct problems.
  • Implements and actively supports the plant and corporate safety policies and initiatives.
  • Ability to lead cross functional teams in problem solving and other initiatives.
  • This individual will lead focused teams and will drive corrective action, preventative action and continuous improvement activities on a variety of tasks.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering related program
  • 5+ years' experience in Quality Engineer or related role.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of ATI Quality and Reliability policies and procedures.
  • Knowledge of automatic transmission.
  • Knowledge of blue print reading and dimensional layout, including Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) and Gear Analyzer familiarity.
  • Knowledge of gaging techniques and applications
  • Knowledge of inspection processes and techniques
