Responsibilities
- Collect, analyze, document, and develop corrective action strategies for internal and external quality related issues.
- Develop and/or complete plant reliability tests to analyze and solve problems.
- Analyze product and process design to prevent and correct problems.
- Implements and actively supports the plant and corporate safety policies and initiatives.
- Ability to lead cross functional teams in problem solving and other initiatives.
- This individual will lead focused teams and will drive corrective action, preventative action and continuous improvement activities on a variety of tasks.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Engineering related program
- 5+ years' experience in Quality Engineer or related role.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of ATI Quality and Reliability policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of automatic transmission.
- Knowledge of blue print reading and dimensional layout, including Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) and Gear Analyzer familiarity.
- Knowledge of gaging techniques and applications
- Knowledge of inspection processes and techniques
