About the role
- Our Software Engineers work in an agile, collective environment.
- Essential Functions: - Ability to work on a computer for extended periods. - Hand/finger dexterity for coding and testing. - Ability to work in a hybrid environment with occasional travel.

Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and testing of complex software components.
- Write and maintain detailed code documentation.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure code quality and adherence to standards.
- Support the integration of software with hardware systems.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance software performance and quality.
- This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 6+ years of experience in experience in software development.
- Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java.
- Practical knowledge of engineering principles and practices.
- Experience working in multi-disciplinary teams.
- Experience with Linux (RHEL) and windows services
- Knowledge of tactical/moving map software integration
- Knowledge with hardware integration and protocol development
- Experience with software tools for requirements tracking, code reviews, static analysis, library and artifact repository, and automated build.
- Background in Aerospace and Defense industry.
- Understanding of industry standard software languages and frameworks such as C#, C++, Java, Python, Java Script/Typescript, React, WPF, and.NET
- Experienced with data structures.
- Ability to work on a computer for extended periods.
- Hand/finger dexterity for coding and testing.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment with occasional travel.
Compensation
- $108,496.89 - $149,183.22.
- Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors, such as candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications.
