About the role
- Responsible for the integration of the nursing process to include: coordination/management of patient care

Responsibilities
- Partners with patients and families to develop, implement and evaluate plan of care, treatments and procedures that contribute to the physiological and psychosocial outcomes of the patient.
- Collaborates with interdisciplinary team in the coordination care.
- Ability to delegate and prioritize tasks appropriately to facilitate quality patient care and ensure patient care needs are met. Able to recognize and respond to emergency situations. Evaluates own needs for support and uses identified systems to meet need.
- Provides leadership, direction and mentorship/support to the staffing needs for the designated specialty.
- Provides leadership, direction and mentorship/support to the staffing needs for the designated speciality area(s).
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Evaluates for patient comprehension and documents.
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree, Nursing (Required) and
- 1 year Recent relevant experience (Required)
- 1 year Supervisory experience (Required)
- Accurately completes all required clinical and quality documentation consistently per RHS standards and regulatory requirements.

- Licenses and Certifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) - Virginia Department of Health Professions (VDHP) Licensed as Registered Nurse by state of Virginia or compact state Upon Hire(Required) and
- CPR/BLS Certification - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/American Safety and Health Institute (AHA/ARC) Upon Hire(Required)

Compensation
- $115k-$166k
Benefits
- $114,500.00 - $166,025.00/AnnualActual pay is determined based on job-related factors such as relevant experience, education, credentials, skills, internal equity, and business needs.
- Demonstrates understanding of diverse patient care populations and ability to modify education method to ensure patient/family comprehension.
- Educates by assuming responsibility to individualize and coordinate patient education, and discharge specific education that includes family/caregiver.
