About the role

  • This role requires the ability to work independently across multiple projects or on a dedicated large-scale project, in close coordination with field staff and senior leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the main liaison between the client, design team, consultants, and subcontractors throughout all phases of the project
  • Lead and manage all aspects of project administration, including document control, RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, and closeout documentation
  • Develop and maintain the project schedule in collaboration with the Superintendent, ensuring alignment with phasing, long-lead items, and procurement timelines
  • Partner with field staff to coordinate daily construction activities, monitor quality, and mitigate delays or disruptions
  • Identify and manage project risks, delays, and claims by maintaining detailed records, documenting potential impacts, and communicating timely updates to stakeholders
  • Collaborate with Senior Project Manager or Project Director on project strategy, staffing, and high-level decision making
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects up to approximately $10M in value, or serve as the primary Project Manager on a larger-scale project with a focus on financials, administration, and document management
  • Maintain strong communication with all project stakeholders and provide regular updates on progress, issues, and action plans

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in commercial healthcare or hospital construction sector.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects, including work in active or occupied Hospital environments
  • Proven track record of managing healthcare projects from initiation to completion.
  • Strong client-facing skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting commercial construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents
  • OSHA 10-Hour Construction Safety, 30-Hour OSHA Construction Safety and Health Certification preferred.
  • To the extent this role is performed in New York City, the annual salary range is $150,000 - $200,000.

Nice to have

  • 4-Hour Supported Scaffold User Certification preferred
  • Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint, and Outlook), Procore, and Timberline (preferred but not required)

Compensation

  • To the extent this role is performed in New York City, the annual salary range is $150,000 - $200,000.
