About the role
- This role focuses on designing and delivering scalable, secure, and highly available cloud-native applications using modern development frameworks, serverless architectures, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- The ideal candidate brings strong experience in Python-based backend development, modern front-end frameworks (Angular or React), and AWS-native services.
- Model and orchestrate business workflows using AWS Step Functions.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native applications supporting the CDAP platform using AWS services.
- Develop backend services using Python and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using AWS CDK or Terraform.
- Build and maintain container-based applications using Docker and related technologies.
- Develop responsive, web-based user interfaces using Angular or React with TypeScript.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrate front-end and backend components.
- Implement event-driven architectures using AWS services such as Lambda, SNS, and SQS.
- Perform code remediation, debugging, and unit testing to ensure high-quality application delivery.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment of cloud applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, design solutions, and produce technical documentation.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for cloud-based applications.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with AWS services, including:
- P osition Requirements Required Experience & Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience as a software developer/programmer analyst in SDLC and Agile environments.
- Strong proficiency in Python for backend application development.
- Experience with modern front-end frameworks such as Angular or React using TypeScript.
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker.
- Proficiency with version control systems such as Git or GitLab.
- Experience with logging, monitoring, and auditing using AWS CloudWatch and CloudTrail.
- Strong understanding of REST API design and integration.
