- This individual is accountable for the integrity of the financial source of truth, ensuring all data, reporting, and inter-entity relationships are accurate, fully reconciled, and decision-ready.
Responsibilities
- Perform quarter-over-quarter variance analysis and explanations
- Manage capital activity, allocations, distributions, and ownership tracking
- Own the full lifecycle of inter-entity accounting across complex structures, including tracking, reconciling, and resolving high volumes of interrelated transactions
- Maintain clear visibility into intercompany balances and relationships across client entities
- Validate cash activity against expected flows, investment funding, and distributions
- Utilize Sage Intacct or comparable multi-entity accounting systems to maintain clean, reliable financial data
- Identify breakdowns across systems, data flows, and processes and implement scalable solutions
- Own the reporting calendar and ensure all deliverables are completed accurately and on time
- Manage multiple high priority workstreams in parallel with strong attention to detail
- Client and Family Office Support
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- 5 to 8+ years of experience in family office, public accounting, or private wealth environments required
- Strong background in partnership, investment, and multi-entity accounting required
- Exceptional attention to detail with ability to connect large volumes of transactions across client entities
- Ability to operate at both detailed and holistic levels, connecting data across systems and teams
- Professional presence and ability to operate in a high-expectation environment
- Ability to thrive in highly complex, fast-paced environments
- Comfort operating in situations with evolving structure and ambiguity
Nice to have
- Experience supporting ultra-high-net-worth clients or single family offices preferred
- Strong experience with Sage Intacct or comparable accounting systems
- Sage Intacct experience strongly preferred
